Porth Iago
WalesThis little cove is just amazing, perfect clean sand with a gentle slope into the sea. To find this beach head along the north coast road through Nefyn. When you reach a small village called Ty-hen take a right at the old cottage. There is a sign post pointing to Porth Iago. About half mile to your left will be the entrance to the farm lane that takes you to the beach car park. Make sure you have change for the parking meter.
You can stay over night here but beware there are no toilets/showers or chemical toilet disposal point, take with you what you need!

We had a very windy but sunny day which gave us an amazing sunset.
Well worth a stay for a few nights or just to visit the beach for the day.
