Hells Mouth

Wales

Hells Mouth sits near the tip of the Llyn Peninsula just west of Abersoc in Wales. A popular beach for surfers with very good waves on a stormy day. The beach stretches for about 4 miles and varies from golden sand, stone to blobs of clay. On a winters day you can claim this beach to yourself, but on a sunny summers day expect the beach to be very busy!

Today we took a walk along the beach to see how close Siop Penrallt is to the cliff, a house that is precariously near to falling into the sea!

The cliffs are made of sand and clay… not good for standing up to the might of the sea!

A tree trunk washed up, there is a lot of rubbish that has been dumped by the sea!

A bunch of gulls standing around, not quite sure if to stay or fly away.
