A Couple of Days at ArcTanGent Festival 2016
Somerset, EnglandAugust 18th -20th 2016 was the date of the awesome ArcTanGent Music Festival in Fernhill Farm in the Medip Hills.
We stopped at Greenhills Campsite on the way. It was a pleasant site with two showers and glamping tents for hire. The farm sold what it called FREE Range eggs from cooped up chickens which are clearly NOT ranging free as you can see. Sad face here for the chickens aka prisoners.
The Thursday morning of the Festival was lovely and sunny but the farmer told us there was a weather warning for Saturday and Sunday. Sad face once again! We made our way through the cute villages of Somerset stopping off at the local Spar for a few supplies we had failed to pack and fresh bread.It was our intention not to leave the festival site for the full three nights.
We made our way to the ArcTangent site filled with excitement. We could see the tents in the distance and stopped to take a picture like pair of giddy teenagers!.
After a quick consultation with the organiser we were given a space in the VIP parking field overlooking fields,hedges and sheep in one direction with the stages and tents in the distance in the other.
We went for a wander around the pristine site and watched the final preparations before the music kicked off at 2.00 p.m.Here is the line up if you are interested. Arctangent line up.
We were most keen to see Mono, God’s Speed, Toe, Totorro, Vasudeva, ASIWYFA, Caspian, Nordic Giants, Body Hound, Poly Math , Agent Fresco, and in fact ALL the bands to be honest.
